I'm trying to use a master domain with a bunch of components to create multiple slave domains from that single master. The template that I've created has the list of registered domains, the desired master site selected to use as a template, the name for the new database, and the desired slave sites deployment folder (with the created deployment folder selected). When I run the template it doesn't create the new folder or DB. It creates the files in the website directory/multisites/name of template and the DB tables in the same DB as the master. What am I doing wrong?

If you have the result in the directory/multisites/name this is because you have specifed this value in the "deploy folder" field or used a keyword like {site_dir}.

If you want to deploy a slave site into another directory, you have to provide the specific path.

Concerning the DB, you simply have not provided the "new DB name".

The problem was fixed after I manually created the new DB and directory. Perhaps there was a permissions issue that JMS could not create them itself, even with the box checked for the create directory.
