I have a couple quetions about the following configuration:

Defined slave1 using the same DB as the master with prefix slave1

I run through the installation process with no problem. Accessing slave1 url it uses the master template fine.

Questions:

    Is there no separate admin for slave1 when it's a prefixed on the master db? When I try to access slave1 admin it just takes me to the index of slave1 front end so I am unable to change the sitename, menu's etc.

    I tried genning slave1 using "New Themes folder:" with mulsites/slave1/templates. But after running the joomla installation I get a blank screen on slave1 front end.

Thank you in advance. And also great stuff!

I don't understand your question.

If you have applied the tutorial video 9, you should have saw that you create a fresh slave site where you provided a new table prefix.
So you have a separated website with specific admin account.

If you are on a linux with Symbolci Link allowed
Create a basic slave site consists in
site ID = slave1
Domain = {site_url}/multisites/{site_id}
Deploy directory = {site_dir}_

When you receive the Joomla installation, you have to provide the table prefix slave1_
to avoid destroy the "jos_" table prefix that may be present.
