TOPIC: Slave changes Master

Slave changes Master 14 Years, 2 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello

I am setting this up for the first time and have created the template. The slave site creates correctly based on the master, but any changes made to the slave changes the master.

I have looked at the database and the new prefix is being set correctly

This must be an easy one.
Thanks!

Probably you are not connected on the slave site but on the master.
To be sure that you are connected on the correct website, just put different site title and check it when you login.

The most frequent error is that you forget to put the WWW and without www domain name.

When creating a slave site, check that you have www.domain.com and domain.com as synonym.
Also check that you are using HTTP or HTTPS

Thanks for the reply. Actually I didn't have the virtual hosts setup right and was actually connecting to the master.
