JMS 1.2.26 + Joomla 1.5.15 + check patches = ALL ok.

MASTER = site.com/MASTER
SLAVE = site.com/MASTER/multisites/DEMO

I get the correct slave site title/config file if I browse to
site.com/MASTER/multisites/DEMO

However, I get the MASTER config file if I browse to
site.com/MASTER/multisites/DEMO/administrator

Symlinks didn't happen automatically so I did create them manually.
I also had to manually tweak the /DEMO/config_multisites.php file.

If Symlinks are not created when you save the slave site, you have to check that the functionalitiy is available. Sometimes you may have wrong setup of the tmp or log directories as explained in the tutorial video 6.

Perhaps also you have a problem of permission and you are not using the same user to create the Symlinks.

Sometime you have servers that is using "nobody" or "apaches" users to perform operation that are forbidden by these users when you are in a directory that can only be processed by another user.
