TOPIC: Setting up the Master of Masters
#4001
Setting up the Master of Masters 14 Years, 8 Months ago Karma: 0
I am currently setting up my Master Site

With all of the components i will need for all my slave sites.
1) should all of the plugins and comps, modules be enabled (for the intergration I want) or left dorment to config for each slave in use of it.

Example: I will not use community builder in the slavemaster (it will be located on a different dbase slave in a subdirectory (which i hope to limit access to with a group access module) , but i will Cb for several other slave sites, some will not have community builder at all. Should Cb be activated in the 1) master, 2) slavemaster or 3) only in the slave sites that will use it.

===assumptioin in the master to have user integration.
Where would I active my Juga/RSmembership that limits acces to certain folders, on each slave, the master, or the slavemaster, or all that will make use of it???

WHY THIS FLOW:
I am runnign into integration issues with several of my compontents and a custom (in build) on my master - would get rid of the trouble makers but require them for the site.

I want to make sure if there is a problem we dont lose all the data from the whole site ( 5 new setup attempts in one week - Oh i am ah crying...lol)
I want to ensure speed of access.

Or is there a better layout/master slave site flow option.

Thanks for your help

Wrina

We never reviewed RSMemebership and don't know this extension.
If you want that we review this extension and perhaps include its definition in a next release of JMS then send us this extension in an attachement of an email.

When not currently defined in our JMS tool, you probably can re-install it into the slave site.

Concerning Juga, I don't know.
I can just suggest you to create a prototype to verify the flow that you want to implement.

All I can tell you is that you can install it in a slave site.
