As you can find in this forum, this error message mean that either you have "no configuration" or "no installation" directory.

So depending on your slave site definition (probably deployed in a specific direcrory), you have to check that you have the "installation" directory available.
Perhaps you have deleted the directory.
You can use JMS check patches to be sure that the installation directory is present.

You have to check that you deployed directory contain the symbolic links and the installation directory.
You can also use the "hello world" procedure to try install an hello.php file into the installation directory to be sure that you can access it.

Perhaps you have also to check the permission on the installation directory to be sure that you can access it.

Whe joomla try to start, it check if the "configuration.php" files is present.
When this is not the case, it check if it can find the "installation" directory to ask you create a fresh joomla installation.
When both are not present it returns the message that you mentioned.

OK but what are the results of the other tests.
Does the hello world is working in the installation directory ?

Does your hosting server follow the symbolic link ?
Does the permission (owner, group) are identical ?

The procedure consists to use the hello.txt and hello.php to check that you can run them into the installation directory (because it seems it is not saw).

To share extensions, see the tutorial video 16
www.jms2win.com/tutorial#jms12x-16
Only a limited number of extension can be shared.
In the JMS product details, you have the link to the list of extensions.
Here it is also the direct link to the extension
www.jms2win.com/component/content/article/135

If you want to share the articles, see the extension "article sharing for JMS".
