TOPIC: Run Patches on slaves?
#2258
Run Patches on slaves? 15 Years, 2 Months ago
I just ran the patches on my master (all went ok)
Then I went to the slave and it mentioned that not all patches were done

Do I need to run the patches on the slave too ?

As you will see in the forum at many places, I have already told the JMS should not be installed on the slave site.

We have normally disabled the "install" / "uninstall" patches button when "check for patches" is started in a slave site.

This is normal that a slave site does not contain the patches that are required for a master websites.

JMS is not designed to manage slave site from a slave site.
Only the master website should manage the slave site.
