i created a slave site with the following parameters

deploy dir = {site_dir}
template folder = {site_dir}/templates
media = {site_dir}\media
images = {site_dir}\images

i could see the templates directory in multisites/slave/templates, but after click on templates with again taking back to master site templates and what ever changes done for slave also appearing for master.

can you please help me. i want to change administrator and site templates for slave site with out effecting to master.

First I have noticed that in media and images, you have used absolute path that is WRONG.
you can use {rel_site_dir} but in your case, as you have deployed the slave site into a specific directory ( deploy dir = {site_dir}, you probably want to provide media and image (without the {site_dir}.

Concerning the templates folder, you can check how it is created in the "{site_dir}/templates".
Normally, this must be a physical directory in which you have several symbolic link to the master templates.
By default JMS create a specific "templates" directory in which it create Symbolic Link to the original directory.
As explained in the user manual, you can at this moment delete the link to replace them with a physical copy.
This can be do in the slave site administration with the "un-install" of the template and re-install of a copy.

suddenly from today morning i am getting message

* Some patches are not installed.
* Please check patches and proceed with patch installation to allow mutlisites working properly.

in my site, i went to check patches and saw there getting message like

administrator/components/com_multisites/install.xml Not OK

* The patch definition over 1.2.3 also require to update the JMS kernel to a version 1.2.0 or higher

Actions:

* Go to JMS website to Get latest version
* In case of problem, also have a look in the FAQ procedure to get the latest version.
* If you do not update the JMS kernel, you may have icons that will not be correctly displayed in JMS tool and JMS template sharing.
* We recommand to also update the JMS kernel to also benefit of some fixes.

is any thing missed in my site. please help me up to yesterday it was proper.

This just mean that you have a old JMS 1.2.x version and that we recommand to update the kernel.
You probably still using a Release Candidate version.
We are now at the JMS 1.2.4 that is also already partially compatible with Joomla 1.6.

is this not latest version. if not how to get the latest version. i went to get latest version page and clicked on the get latest version button its saying no action.
