Set up mutlisite using: Jms1.2.70, Joomla 1.74.

I guess under J1.7X, we have to install the template (I am using ja_events) to each master and children site. I also want to upload a theme for each of the site to use.

I noticed that I installed the template on one of these and it appears on every site. I create the theme/layout/profile for one site and apply to it, then all other sites are got changed as. It looks if all site use the same JA_Events tempalte (from Joomlart), you can only use one theme.

children:
cws.jwnpublish.com
ess.jwnpublish.com
ray.jwnpublish.com

First tell me if you have shared the joomla "/templates" directory or if you are using specific directory for each slave sites.

Second, which is the full path of the themes/layout that you mentioned.
Is this under the /templates/ja_events
