I am new to the software but learning quickly. I have the software working for the most part, but I am having trouble in one area.

I am developing a site, much like craigslist.org. The site is region specific and each region is identified with a subdomain. (example: slave1.anysite.com, slave2.anysite.com, slave3.anysite.com)

I need each subdomain to have its own database, but for all subdomains to share one database of users.

How can I make all slave sites refer to one list of users?

In other words, if I create a user at slave1.anysite.com, this user can't log it at slave2.anysite.com.

It is possible to share the users accross DB if you grant your MySQL user privilege to have access to all the DB for which you want to share the users.
So if you are using the same DB Username and Password for all the DBs, this can be acheived.

Once you have created the slave site, check that the tables are correctly shared.
To do that, use the JMS tools menu and verify that the tables are correctly shared.

It took several tries, and I had to watch the video twice, but I think it is preforming as desired. I won't fully know until I begin to add content.
