There is no DB to store the domain and site ID information as such information are required before to open a DB.
The information are stored in files on the disk and managed by Jms Multi Sites.

The site ID is a directory name.

You can already have the list of slave site when you create a menu item using the "multi site" menu.

It is also possible to create a JMS "layout" to publish such list.
We are currently creating a "List Anonymous Layout" that is doing something similar to a "google query result".
