Hello,
I couldn't find a comprehensive list of tested and working components on your site.
Multisite looks amazing but I've so many components to tests that I can't list all them here. I've to upgrade more than 50 sites to 1.6 and I don't want to upgrade them manually every time a new version of joomla or of a component comes out.

I send you a list of the most important components I've to install to ask if you have any idea (Joomla 1.6)
Eventlist (not a native 1.6 component but installs and works well)
Chronoform
Phoca Gallery
JCE
Google Analytics (component)
Akeeba Backup
Admin Tools
Superfish menu
XMap

Those are the most importants.
What appens if you can't install and share a component with multisite? Can you still install for every site that need it independently ?
When you share a component from the master, you don't do it for the datas, right ? So you have then to upgrade only once ?

What's sad is that we can't test this component. I know nobody will then buy it but maybe you can provide a limited version that let just check the install of modules to see wich are compatibles any wich are not. Would it be possible to provide a version of a package (last version of joomla 1.6 + multisite) without the possibility to create templates and slave sites but with a master and 2 slaves already created ?
So this will let install components and check wich ones are compatibles as I can't ask to check every component I've to install almost 120 different components for all sites we have. I've also to be sure for the component as the boss will kill me if I tell him that we have to pay for it and then we can't use it as it doesn't work for our components.
Thank you
bedford

Hello bedford, I bought this component and it seems fine, but to be honest phoca gallery hasn't worked for us at all, we have tried different templates and different installations but the result is a non working phoca gallery, we have installed it straight in the slave site with the "fresh install template" creating a slave and is not working, the component doens't show up under "extensions" in joomla 1.6.

I recommend you to check the list of components supported i guess, because its a russian roulette.

here is the link, i hope you get a response to your question.

As mentioned by axenet, you have a list of extension that are currently defined in our JMS Tool menu.
In general most of the extension can be installed and does not have any problem. I don't know which problem axenet encounter with phoca gallery.

We do not provide trial version as we provide all the sources in clear and without any protection as mentioned in our FAQ.
As you have plenty extension (120) I suggest that you have a look in our list of extension to see if they are defined.

Concerning the sharing of the content of extension, only a limited number of extension be shared. This is mainly driven by the data model and the DB access performed by the extension. So if an extension is not defined for the sharing, this probably mean that you will not be able to share its content.

If you need specific support, this is also possible with our billable support that you can order at

Hi,
Thank you to both for your answer.

axesnet, I can't play Russian roulette with client's components
edwin2win, why not provide a demo site where people may try to install modules or components so they may see if it works. Maybe with a way to create a new clean installation that will be reseted every weekend ?
I know this is not very expensive but if we can't work with it, it is useless and the boss won't trust on me if I tell him I've the solution to our problems and then tell him that it doesn't work.

I would be pleased to use your product but I must be sure it will fit our needs. You will also increase your sales if you provide a way to your customers to test it online. I hardly trust a component I can't test...

Make a demo site and let people test it. You will also have a way to let people test the various components and you will have free "beta testers" for your component.

Last question: if a module doesn't install on the master or install but can't be shared, it is still possible to install the component on every slave ?

Thank you for you anser.

We do not provide demo site because we have to provide a Super Administrator user and therefore everybody can backup the website and stollen our environment.
We did it in the past and detected such unfair customers.
So we removed it and just provided a demo on video.
As we provide all the sources in clear, this is not fair play to have such customer behavior. If we had encrypted our extension with IonCube or other system, this would be possible but in this case, if we provide a trial version encrypted, how can you be sure that it will be the same once you have purchased the license.

In addition, the price of Jms Multi Sites is very low and we think that you can take the risk to buy it.

If you don't trust us, see the joomla reviews
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-en.../multiple-sites/5550

If you need additional support, this is also possible here
