I am still learning this component, to see if it can so what I need, I hope so. But one obvious issue is that it is quite complex, especially a non-technical person. When creating a new site there are so many options to enter which is not explained very well I don't think. My customer who will want to create sites and is not technical is not going to understand all this.

So is there available, or possible to create, a simpler New Website screen that does away with most options and use default values already set.

So for example, all we need is Site Name, Domain & Admin details. Then it will create the site to settings I have already created somewhere. Correct me if I am wrong but I think the Templates is where you set the settings? So no need to have them show again all the time when creating a new site.

If this is not possible, my idea is to just edit the Joomla Admin CSS and hide all the unnecessary fields, so have as few a fields as possible. I want my customer to just enter the bare minimum.

ALSO, I think we have to then follow the Joomla install instructions once you create a new site?? Can this process not be included in JMS? Ideally when you create new site the whole install should be done already and the site available to use??

When using the possibility to create website from the front-end, the parameters are very limited. In this case, you have to prepare websites ready to use and that you will clone to build a new website.
Perhaps this is the solution.

It is also possible to create specific "JMS Layout" to provide another front-end interface. So the look can be different.

When creating a website from the front-end, you don't need the "Joomla isntaller" as you are replicating an existing "ready to use" website.
