TOPIC: Upgrading to Joomla 1.6
#6421
Upgrading to Joomla 1.6 13 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
I'd like to upgrade to Joomla 1.6. Is JMS fully compatible with 1.6, and are there any things I need to know before I begin?

I plan on using jUpgrade: extensions.joomla.org/extensions/migrati...omla-migration/11658
Are there any problems using this method?

As you can read in our change history, JMS multisites is still partially compatible with Joomla 1.6
www.jms2win.com/en/faq/change-history-v12x

Concerning the Upgrade extension, it is not defined in the JMS Tools and you may perhaps need to re-install in the slave site to convert the slave site.
I can not guarantee you that this extension will work for the slaves.
I will try to test it.

Thanks. Please let us know how that upgrade extension works for you, because it sure makes upgrade to joomla 1.6 easier!
