404 - Component not found in slave site 14 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
i have successfully installed jms and created slave site and all the tables have been created,
when i access localhost/mastersite/slavesite

i get a "404 - Component not found"

it is only on slave site and not on the master site, localhost/mastersite/

i have only k2 and jms as extra modules installed.

i am a developer and have to test this site on localhost before publishing it on the main website, i am using wamp and joomla 1.5.21 and jms 1.2.8.

i have followed that, and it does not solve the problem. i just route the page to the main master site, and does not show the slave site, and change to 1 salve site get reflected in all salve sites as well as master site.

This means that you are not connected on the slave but remain connected on the master.
Put different site title to always be ensure that you are connected on the appropriate website.

Check that nowhere you have used the "localhost" in the domain list.
As explained in the user manual with localhost procedure, you can not have any websites defined with a "localhost".

Verify also that you are not using the "live_site" configuration parameter that must be empty.
