TOPIC: Which Template Framework?
#5667
Which Template Framework? 14 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I've read that the Gantry framework is not the best for using with JMS. What's about other template frameworks like Joomlarts T3, Yoothemes Warp or the Morphs framework? Which is the best for using with JMS?

Thanks and cheers

I don't know the T3.

Concerning the Yoothemes WARP, the same problem as already mentioned for Rockethemes.

None of them as soon as they rewrite the framework.

Our company is not responsible to fix each templates delivered by the companies that does not want to fix their internal libraries.

We have a customer who provided us some patches for Yoothemes but when we tried to used them for a customer, this failed. So we never publish them.

If you want to get them compatible, perhaps you could ask these companies to publish framework that is multisites compatible.

We can just tell you that Rocketthemes declined to do that when we contacted them.

Perhaps that you (customers) could be convinced the templates company to take in account of the "multisites" functionalities.

If you want that we test some of their themes (templates), send us some of them in the attachement of an email. We will tell you if their framework is working.

You don't know T3? It's from Joomlart and Gavick is using it also: wiki.joomlart.com/wiki/JA_Template_Framework/Overview

But I'm worry that all template frameworks are problematical.
Are there any infos which templates are problematical and which not?

Thanks and cheers

Only the template that are using specific frameworks.
When the template use the standard joomla framework they are working.

You can generally find templates in Joomlart that are not using their new T3 framework.
