Multisites ID Plugin 14 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello,

if I use the "Multisites ID Plugin" on a slave, I get only the result:

:master_db:

Any ideas?

Thank You & Regards,

This is normal as the master website identifyier is the special keyword ":master_db:".

We have release a Multisites ID version 1.1 plugin that allow you to replace the master ID by something else and also allow adding a dot after the site id to allow building URL with site id in the subdomain like {site_id}.yourdomain.com

is there a way i can use the multi site ID to hard link in the footer to the mobile version of each of my slave domains?

like the master template will just have this line in the footer:

<a href="m.{{site_id}}.com">Mobile Site -</a>

im a little confused on usage of this plug in

when i try it in content or in the html, i just get:

{{site_id}}

rendered in the page. it seems i have not set something up correctly.

Which version of the plugin are you using ?

You have to check that you have perfectly spelled the keyword.
This is an exact match.
In version 1.1, you can also create variant for the :master_db: and replace by a special value like "www".

So it should work but check the html generate to ensure there is no special character that could make the exact match fail.
