please when I do the Update Check it tells me



* The CheckUpdates files received is not valid.
* The component is probably not registered.



As I understand I am not able to do an update???

Please can you clearify this?

Different reason to that:
a) You have not registered your product
b) The files is corrupted during the transfert

Alternative solution when you are registered is to get the lastest version from our website.

Ok, did what you have mentioned.
I have uninstalled the patches and installed the new download installation packed,
After the installation I push the register button and it tells me: congratulation all done!
After this I have applied the patches again.

When I look now to the menu item:

* Check for Updates

it tells me:

* The CheckUpdates files received is not valid.
* The component is probably not registered.

* Joomla Multi Sites version: 1.2.22 (Latest available: 1.2.22)
* Patches definition version: 1.2.28 (Latest available: 1.2.29)

then all the OK's
and the last: Congratulation, all the patches are successfully installed.

Now the big question, are the patches installed now or not?

says to me they are not.

YES this is correct.
We have not yet packaged the patch definition in a "JMS 1.2.23".

If you absolutelly need the patches present in the JMS patch defintiion as detailled in the
www.jms2win.com/faq/patches-definition-v12x
you will still way a little.
It will be included in next JMS "kernel" including another JMS patch (normally the 1.2.30).

Hi, i must first say - Wonderful product!

I have just a small problem that needs to be fixed. I'm using themes from Yootheme. They all seem to read the master params.ini. Even if I install a new theme in a replicated slave site.

I understand that the new patch 1.2.29 is going o fix this problem?
How can I get the latest patch?

I don't really understand how to get it.
