Front end site creation message 11 Years, 11 Months ago Karma: 0
Edwin,

I am running JMS version 1.2.97. When a user creates a site from the front end, JMS does not display a "success message" to let them know that their site was deployed. All that displays is a blank screen where the slave site details had been before. The message was working with a previous version of JMS. Am I doing something wrong? Do I have a setting somewhere turned off that would keep JMS from displaying a message? The Joomla message module is working because I get messages from other areas of my site (such as when someone registers on the site).

If you receive a "blank page" this is the symptom of a PHP fatal error.
Check your "error_log" file to identify the reason.

I am not receiving an entirely blank page. Just the frame that holds the JMS front end creation fields is blank after the user saves the site. The site is deployed and the rest of the web page is fine, but the JMS section of the page is blank and there is no message. The user won't know that the site has been created. I've messed around with the message plugin and checked the change log in the newest version of JMS for some insight but can't figure out what is causing the message to not display.

Can you provide a screenshot and surround the parts that is wrong in the page displayed.
This is not clear of what you have as result.

Did you tested with a standard joomla template (ie. Purity) and does it works correctly.
Perhaps that your joomla template does not display the "system message"
