I have JomSocial installed on the Main Site and Slave Sites. I should also have partial user sharing which so far does not seem to be working, though I have eyt to read the proper configuration settings and this post is not about it.
I placed a wall post, and event and uploaded an image on Jomsocial on slave site mysitetwo.com. The posts appeared on the main site mysite.com but there is a problem. The images which I uploaded on mysitetwo.com are broken on mysite.com
Any ideas what I need to do?
Cheers
M

All depends where the images are physically store.
If the images are stored in "/images" directory and that you have created a specific "/images" directory for each website, this is normal that an images stored in a website is not displayed into another websites.
So check the how the "/images" directory is created.
Is this a "Symbolic Link" or a "Physical Directory" ?

Hi Edwin,
If I understand your question correctly, from within JMS > Templates > Folders & Files you had configured it as follows:
Folder or File: images
Action: Copy [ Copy the folder or file]
From file or folder - case of (copy, unzip): *FIELD IS LEFT BLANK*
Most of the other files on this page are Symbolic Links.

So if you copied the "images" directory then you have a snapshot of this directory and the potential joomla social images are not shared.
This may explain the reason why you have such problem.
If you want to have specific "/images" directory for each website but in the same time share the jomsocial "/images" subdirectory (I don't know the name) then you should have to create a link manually.
For that, you need some skills in linux administration and use a SSH terminal.
The linux command to use is "ln -s"
