How can slave sites share images 12 Years, 5 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello Edwin,

How can I share the images between the slave sites if the structure of the multisite is as follows?

- Master
- Fresh Slave
- Slave 1
- Slave 2
- Slave 3

I would like to have the images of the three slaves sites in a folder located in the fresh slave site. This way, if you create a virtuemart product or a K2 article in any of the slave sites they will be available (including the image) in the other two sites.

At present, all the slave sites share virtuemart products and K2 articles but only the site where these were created show the images. In order to show the images in the other two slave sites I need to manually copy them into their respective images folders.

Thank you.

If you want to share the images directory between the slave1, slave2, slave3 you need to create a JMS Templates rule that will share the "/images" directory (use the "special copy" action).

The website dependencies should probably be

Slave1
+-- Slave2
+-- Slave3

Where slave 2 and Slave 3 will share the /images directory but also the VM extension and K2 extension.

It is assumed that you environment accept the Symbolic Link
