Joomla 1.3.x 13 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 0
Hello
I have JMS 1.1.24 but is compatible with Joomla 1.5.x
What i have to do to make it work with older joomla?
I have about 5 older joomla sites, and my customers dont want to upgrade to Joomla 1.5.x.

Any help is welcome.
Thanx

Your questoin is not clear.
The title mention joomla 1.3.x. I suppose you mean 1.5.x.
When you say older joomla site and don't want upgrade to Joomla 1.5.x. What do you mean ?
Do you mean that older site are in Joomla 1.0.x and you don't want upgrade to Joomla 1.5.x.

Concerning JMS Multisites 1.1.24 we know that you may have some difficulties with Joomla > 1.5.15. Starting with Joomla 1.5.16, the have performed some modification to try increase the security and these modification may have site effects when JMS is installed on joomla 1.5.15 or lower and that you upgrade joomla without uninstall the JMS patches before.
Also some extension patches might be obsolete and if you are using latest Commutiy Builder or sh404SEF you will need to upgrade to JMS Multisites 1.2.x.

So JMS 1.1.24 may still work but begin to be obsolete in some cases.

Yes i made mistake.
Sorry
I have 5 older joomla sites in version: 1.3.x and customers dont want upgrade to joomla 1.5.x.

I want to know if my JMS Product v1.1.24 (wich is the best for joomla 1.5.x) can do the same thing for older joomla, v1.3.x.

Can do that?
I tryed to install JMS v1.1.24 on Joomla 1.3.x but i get the error

Upload component - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package. So i assume JMS 1.1.24 is for Joomla 1.5.x only..

What can i do to make JMS compatible with joomla 1.3.x ?

Your answer is very strange.
You start to say sorry and after you repeat that you don't want upgrade from 1.3.x to 1.5.x.

Sorry but I don't know Joomla 1.3.x and I don't know if it would be compatible.
As you have JMS 1.1.x and Joomla 1.3.x then I suggest you that you do the test yourself to reply to your question.

If I read your correctly, you have performed the test and it seems it fails.
If you want that we develop a JMS for the older Joomla 1.3.x, this is possible with our billable support but this might be expensive if the Joomla 1.3.x and 1.5.x are very different.
