TOPIC: Slave Site Headers
#196
Slave Site Headers 15 Years, 10 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi All
Once i have created my slave sites, i want each slave site to have a site name related header.
As it is at the moment any slave site header is being called from the master site.
Is there a way ( even manually site by site ) that i can use different headers.

If you want a different banner or header in each website, you can use the Joomla custom module in which you put what you want and for which you give a position "banner"

Ok,
I am a bit confused.
I have a few questions.

1. I have 200 sites that i want to run thru your multites system.

2. Are you referring to the joomla banner module in the master site, or the individual slave sites

3. Also how do i intergrate google analytics for the slave sites.

4. Do i have back end access to the slave sites, to make adjustments to css etc or is there only the master template being calleed up from the master site.

Thanks
Peter

As each website are totally indepedent, that mean that you can use the "custom modules" to put specific header for each website (master and/or slave sites).

Concerning the Google Analytic, you can use our free multisites google analytic module available in our free download www.jms2win.com/free-download/doc_downlo...tes-google-analytics

With this module, you can give specific GA track id for each website.
This will avoid you to modify the themes (templates) or CSS to include such GA code and also this will allow you to have specific GA track id event when you are using the same themes (template) between websites.

We are using this module for jms2win.com and faq2win.com that are slave sites.
