TOPIC: Component sharing in slaves
#12014
Re: Component sharing in slaves 10 Years, 9 Months ago Karma: 0
After running the initial query in phpMyadmin,

SQL=SELECT name FROM test2_bl_addons WHERE published='1' AND name='Payments'

I get the following error message:

#1146 - Table 'xxxxxxx_test.test2_bl_addons' doesn't exist

(xxxxxxx is first part of database name, obscured)

Apon seeing this error, I can see that no database tables have been copied over into the slave site (test2) for this component. Even tho it is listed in the admin menu in the back end.

I copied that table over using phpMYadmin. It then threw up a new error, which I run thru a SQL query and it shows up the same error. Basically the tables have not been copied over when selecting "define from master" option in Multisites-Tools.
I know this option does not quarantee anything as there is no definitions in JMS for this component.

When replicating the master database to create a slave site all tables are copied and the component is available.

I suppose that we (human) do not read correctly the information that we see.

If you tell me that the JMS Tools show you table and that you don't see them when you connect with PHPMyAdmin, this mean that we do not read the info correctly or that JMS is connected on something else that would explain that with your PHPMyAdmin, you would not be connected where JMS is connected.

So we have to read again and try identifying the reason.

If you want that I have a look directly on your environment, this is still possible with our billable support that you can buy at
