The message that is reported is that it is not possible to create the file /administrator/define.php

So verify the permission of the /administrator directory.
Perhaps that the owner of the directory does not allows you to write in the directory.

See also the Joomla FTP Layer that can be configured in Joomla "global configuration" that may perhaps help you setup an FTP user to create the file.
This may sometime solve the server permission issue when using an FTP user.

I trie to set the chmod permissions and also set the ftp-layer not helps.

I will delete the complete domain.
Than I will setup the domain new. Seems that i have a wwwrun problem.
Will set the php as cgi-application .....

This is not a problem, because it´s a new project without any content...
I will confim you about the things happens.

i got the same error but wether i click on "install" or "uninstall" patches i get always the same error "Database connection error (2): Could not connect to MySQL."

When i restore the configuration.php file i am able to login to joomla again, but the problems with JMS multisites are not solved.

even i can't connect to joomla anymore. after login this appears on a white screen: "Fatal error: Call to undefined method JSession::checkToken() in /home/farmtest/public_html/administrator/components/com_login/controller.php on line 52"

i restored one by one the files that are normally patched by JMS. after this i could login to joomla again and after update to v1.2.92 and installing the patches, problems seem to be solved.

That probably mean that you had modified the DB connection parameter (user / password).
When you install the patches, this restore the files that were backed-up when you install the patches. So if you had changed the password, this may result with such error.
