I am also getting an error that the component isn't installed on the master site, when I am very sure that it is.

I am having the same issue with Mobile Joomla of the settings shared among child sites. When I change a setting in one child site it changes in all child sites. I really like Mobile Joomla and would like to use it on all of my child sites, but at this point I cannot. I read here about a patch that was available for a previous version. There is no mention of it on the Mobile Joomla site. I am using Joomla V1.7.1, Multisites V1.2.70, and Mobile Joomla V1.0-RC5. Has anyone had success with this?
