TOPIC: Mobile Component compatability
#5791
Re:Mobile Component compatability 14 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 1
OK, couple problems...

1. So I found many of the modules/plugins that I thought were being missed; however, I can not find the mod_mj_markupchooser module on the slave sites, and I can't find the option through MultiSite to install it...

2. Every time I update the website links in the component settings they change on every single page!

2) In general, most of the modules and plugin does not create specific MySQL table but just read existing table.
So you can go in the JMS Multisites tool menu and try "define" the module in the slave.

2) This is not clear.
What do you mean by update weblinks in the component setting.
Do you mean that this affect other website ?
Which extension name ?
Is this in "Mobile Joomla" ?

Which version of JMS Multisites are you using and which patch definition ?
Did you install the patches for "Mobile Joomla" ?

I understand this, as this is how I found the menu modules. But as I was trying to indicate, I can not find/define a module in the slave sites based on the mod_mj_markupchooser module that is listed in my Host site... And even though it is listed in my host site, I can't install it, like I can most every other module, to my slave sites.

This is very simple....
Login to administration, hover mouse over components, click on Mobile Joomla, and when the Mobile Joomla Component configuration comes up (as I indicated in my previous post) there are fields here for setting the desktop/mobile version links. If I change any of these links to the address for that specific Host or slave site, it will update this setting for every other slave site, or even the host site.

As for version information I can't get to that right now, but I can say that I downloaded the latest version and patches as of 11/7/2010 around 9PM, and I still have this problem... and Yes I noticed the Mobile Joomla specific patches after the installation last night... which required me to reinstall Mobile Joomla on my Host Site and slave sites to get it working again, and still yet updating this link information affects all sites (host & slaves).

Sorry but I don't see the parameter "desktop/mobile version link".

Would you please provide a screenshot and surround this parameter.

When I go in "kuner mobile joomla", I have several tabs in the "settings" menu and I don't find your parameter in the "Global Settings" tabs.

We don't have the same version as we don't have the desktop parameter that you show here.
Would you please send us in the attachement of an email the version that you are using.
The version that we are using is 0.9.2.
