If you have a white screen, this is the symptom of a PHP fatal error and you must have a error log file that give you the reason.
So have a look in your error log file to get more info on the reason of the white screen.

Can you write here the procedure that you used to customize the k2.css

Additional question, on which joomla do you try using K2 ?

In the other forum, they mentioned to put the k2.css in your joomla /templates/XXX/html directory to overwrite the current one used by K2.

I will put the white screen erro message on later.

The k2.css in the directory of both templates and imported into the site with a line of code. The site is not reading it. I disabled the k2.css in the parameters. I also deleted the k2.css files from both sites components directory.

I am using joomla 2.5

The 2 sites are www.wildbate.com (main)
and www.bobseatery.com

They currently are not styled at all by k2.css

When you watch the source html of the page of the 2 websites, you see that you have a problem in the second one.

wildbate use /templates/wildbbate/css/k2.css
where you can clearly read the name of the templates

In the bobseatery it uses
/templates//css/k2.css

and you can see that the template name is missing "//"

So you probably not selected the appropriate template name or you compute the value with something that return nothing.

I finally did it.

It is actually quite simple....

I followed the last tutorial where I made copies of the default template and placed it in a K2 folder in the main template directory. This means I have 2 k2.css files and the templates assigned to different categories. So the blog looks different to the main portfolio.

All I need to do now is have multi category working and the posts will looks completely different throughout the different websites.

Glad to see that you finally be able to setup your K2.css correctly.
