As the message tells you, this means that you don't have any "/installation" directory present and no "configuration.php" file present in the deployed directory.

So if you are creating a fresh slave site, verify that you have all the patches installed and that the "/installation" directory is correctly restored.

Verify also that in the deployed directory you effectivelly have the "/installation" directory present to allow creating the fresh slave site.

Based on your video, I don't see any symbolic link created.
Perhaps this is you FTP tool that does not display it but you have to verify that you have the symbolic links created.

I am completely lost. This instruction seems to be for a person computer science or a joomla expert.


I have set up wordpress multisites and the instructions is quite simple. Your video tutorial is very hard to understand and not complete. I followed video 9 and I did not see what you are saying.

I am going to give this one more try. I want to make a slave site that shares the users,tempalte and modules from the master site...

Do you have one complete video that can show this?
