TOPIC: Linking to images in specific directory for slave

Re:Linking to images in specific directory for slave 13 Years, 12 Months ago Karma: 0
Ok Edwin, thanks for the help. I've given up on trying to make Plesk work and moved the site to a new server that runs cPanel. Everything works perfectly here using Addon Domains. I can now link properly to independent image directories for each site.

Looking around the forums, it seems that I'm not the only one who has had this issue on Plesk servers. While the JMS solution itself works fine on Plesk, trying to use some of the more advanced features such as isolated image directories are either not possible, or require a significant amount of work (and expense). This is not a criticism of the multisites component, as it is extremely powerful and well-designed, however there should be some notes made in the documentation, the JED, and on this site that it performs much better on cPanel servers than trying to run under Plesk. A simple line or two about this issue somewhere would have saved me countless hours of frustration over the past several months of setting up the two sites I'm using this component on.

With that said, thanks very much for your help in getting this sorted out.

If you make reference to Plesk Appendix that you don't find in the help, perhaps you can search for the vhost.conf
Perhaps that Plesk revamp the help and that is changed of place.
Here it is a link on the Plesk website where you can find the help appendix A
