So it seems that the paid job solved the symbolic links issue only at the root level, symbolic links dont get created at the subfolder level

Any idea on how to solve that ?

We have already solved such kind of issue and that was a permission issue in your apaches configuration file that you have managed yourself and in which you had add permission restrictions.

OK but still not work ... symlinks:allowed but hello.php does not work on slave folder ... I dont see what else to fix in the apache config file as you removed most of the stuff associated with the domain

Also why do I have an empty folder called home/monstr in the sudomain ?

Yersterday i should have tested the hello.php box for slave site because it does not work ...

I have removed everything because you have added security on PHP 4 and PHP 5 that are not used by the working domain.

Concerning the empty domain, I don't remember it - so I don't know.

Solve the permission issue by installing suPHP. However, I still have issues to install slaves from templates. What are the files that are necessary to copy - It is not clear in the tutorial. Is it all the Joomla files or only tmp/logs/cache/installation/images/templates ... It works when all the files are copied/Slinked

When I click on install, I got the following message so I guess there are missing files ....

This error is probably due to a permission issue that does not allow to read the file.
