thirdhatch, thank you for your video that allowed me creating a similar environment that contain the error that you reported.

As I have now an environment that contain this error, I can now investigate the reason and fix the issue.

We are still seeing some strange sorting issues with the articles shared from the master site in Joomla 2.5. Anything you can do would be appreciated.

We sort our articles based on creation date but we are seeing strange sorting when we create a new article with a creation date older than previous articles. The new article with the older creation date is showing up at the top of the sort order. It seems like the sort order is ignoring the creation date in some cases.

Can you give me exactly the parameters that you setup for the ordering to allow me trying to reproduce it.

Which menu item type did you selected with which parameters.

Is it in the joomla 2.5.4 features or category blog or category list all or category layout ?


At least give a screenshot that allow see the values that you used or better do a video that will help me reproducing the same environment.

Do you have that for a specific menu type or all menu types.

We use Category Blog.
