Check the plugin that are enabled.
I suspect that you have a loop in the plugin "language switcher" or similar that would redirect infinitely.

Can you describe the setting of the slave site.
Do you use multi languages ?
Did you setup several menus for different languages ?
....

I use two languages at the moment i have removed the flags but the plugin is activated.

And I use two menus (depending on the language) giving access to the list of stores.
