Share Modules data 11 Years, 3 Months ago Karma: 0
Hi,

I have another question,
I have my own module say: Company News List

- I want it to display in both master site and slave site.
- I want when I input a new news in master site, all the slave site will display the same news (list) as master site.

1. Anyone tell me, how to achieve that?
Thanks

Could we just share the same Table for both modules in master and slave site?

If you are using Joomla 1.5, it is possible to read the news in a module from another website with the "Multisites Content Modules".
www.jms2win.com/en/joomla-multisite?page...42&category_id=1

This extension is the multisites version of the joomla 1.5 latest news module and news flash module.

This extension does not exists for Joomla 2.5.

In general the modules does not have specific MySQL table but use the table of a component.
If you use a specific extension that is not defined in the JMS Tool menu and that you want that we define a sharing, you can start to send us the extension in the attachement of an email for review and request for the sharing. If we can add its definition in standard, we will add it to a next release of JMS.
If you want a very specific sharing (just for you and with your own risk), it is also possible that we create a specific plugin that add a specific sharing definition.
Such specific development can be done with our billable support

Hi,
are there any updates on having that extension developed for JMS 1.3x for Joomla 2.5 series too? If yes, when, please? If not, could we just use another 2.5 article newsflash component? Any recommendations, please?

We will develop the "Multisite Content module" for Joomla 2.5 but I can not tell you when it will be available because there is no Joomla 3.1 coming and we will have again to redevelop it for Joomla 3.1 - So I can not tell you when this will be available.
