TOPIC: DOCman v.1.4stable

DOCman v.1.4stable 15 Years ago Karma: 0
I was not able to install two Docman 1.4stable plugins (www.joomlatools.eu/downloads/cat_view/8-docman/11-add-ons.html) in a slave site.

Error message is "This extension is not found in the master site...."

1. Search plugin v1.4.0.stable
2. AutoThumb v1.4.1

JMS v.1.1.7
Joomla 1.5.9 (legacy mode to install DOCman 1.4)
with latest JMS patch

Pls check.

Thanks.

Does the plugin is installed on the master website ?

If YES, start to update your JMS with the latest version (1.1.21)
Perhaps some fixes in the JMS core will solve your problem.
If you still have the problem, repost a message here

Is JMS 1.1.21 compatible with Joomla 1.5.9?
Last time, I got unexpected error when I upgrade JMS 1.1.17 to JMS 1.1.18, I still did not know what was source of problem? So I fall back to JMS1.1.17 and everything fines.

I'm a bit hesitate to upgrade to J1.5.10, yet. Need lots of testing before go ahead.....and J1.6 is coming..

May I have your advice?

Many thanks.

All JMS 1.1.x are compatible with Joomla 1.5.10.
As mentionned in FAQ / Change history www.jms2win.com/faq/change-history-v11x
Starting with JMS 1.1.18, it is packaged with Joomla 1.5.10 patches.

Also as mention in change history, JMS 1.1.19 contain a fix concerning the identification of the extension name that is perhaps the problem you have encountered.
