I have no problem creating slave sites, provided I am using the same database with different prefixes but when I try to creat a site using a different database I get errors when creating tables during the site install. Any ideas why. Im using MYsql 5 on Go Daddy.

Which is the error message ? Depending on the operation that you try to do, it is frequent that you have to use the same MySQL User. If you are using a shared hosting at GoDaddy, it is probable that you can not have a same MySQL User that can access several DB

I have the same problem, I'm using the same userdb that the master.

When you read the MySQL error message you have
"command denied to user"

When using cPanel, you have to increase the permission of the MySQL user to allow create and show view.
If you search in this forum, you will find plenty of times the same answer.

See also tutorial video 0.b slide 35 that show you the expect MySQL user privileges.

If you are using a share hosting, ask you hosting provider to increase the permission of your MySQL user

Sorry, but to send a post on a forum, is because I did all the tutorials as they say, the user data base, has all the permismos.

I'll give you a little more detail about the problem and see if I am the problem or is an error in the component.

When selects Templates: Master DB, everything works fine, but if I choose any other template, I get the error.

Note: the other templates are replicated Tempate Master DB.

The error message "command denied to user" mean that you try to share an extension and the the MySQL user does not have the privilege to do that.

You are clearly noticed that you are using cPanel and I reply again to you that cPanel does NOT provide ALL privileges. This is false and you need to get ALL the privileges manually and request your hosting provider or administrator to give you more privileges or use the MySQL root login.
