We are working on a large portal project and we are going to use JMS and user sharing between 10 web sites. Build as you recommend Master-Slave1-Share1, Share2 .........Share9

A part of the portal concept is a loyalty program, AlpahaUserPoints.

1. Can we use AlphaUserPoints in JMS?

2. If yes, will it then be possible to have members from Share1, Share2, Share3, and Share4 web sites to be a part of one loyalty system (AlphaUserPoints) for the entire portal and websites so they get their member points from their own member site e.g. Share1 and also that they get member points from the Portal and the shopping mall (VirtueMart) the Share 6 web site.

We cross our fingers and hope it is possible.

Regarding the Data Base we want to use multible databases but are not sure about the prefix -Can we use jos_ for all databases or do the prefix need to be individual in relation to the above portal project.

1) Yes you can use AlphaUserPoint.

2) YES you can share but not partially.
The concept of the extension sharing is share ALL records of AlphaUserPoint or none.

The extension sharing consists in sharing of MySQL tables.
