Can we use our own joomla installation files in place of JMS supplied? We have a quickstart that builds a pretty nice DB with all our required modules etc....it would sure be nice to use it... So...Can we replace the joomla installation that comes with JMS with our own? Thanks...I getting the hang of this...so maybe soon I won't have to ask so many newbie questions... Fred

YES. You can use yours. This is probably better that you are using yours if you have installed Joomla in another language. JMS is able to patch the installation directory when it is provided. As in the procedure to install Joomla it is recommended to remove the "installation" directory, we have provided a copy to simplify the install of JMS.

Edwin...Thank You! I deleted the original slave with db loaded my installation package reapplied the patches worked great!
