update restriction from master site 12 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 0
Hello,

I will have a master site and severale slave sites. From master site I would like to define the administrator user of slave site. Then is it possible to configure in master site for example admin1 beeing the administrator of slave 1, can modify only content article from slave1 site ? I mean, is it possible to restrict the content access by user and by slave site from master site ?

Regards, Edouard

Yes you can do that with the "Partial User Sharing" and the Joomla 2.5
www.jms2win.com/en/joomla-multisite?page...52&category_id=1

So in joomla 2.5, you can have a user that is simply registered in one website and that is the administrator in another website.

In Joomla 1.5, you can just forbid the access to a website but not modify the privileges of a user.
