I am looking for a Joomla multi site manager.

We have two websites now. Both running joomla 2.5.6 & virtuemart 2.0.8e.

I want them both to share the same user database.. thats it. Is this possible with just Jms ? Do I need another extension as well?

You can use JMS for just share the users.
See the tutorial video 16 that show how to share the content of an extension (here the users).

If you want that your users remain logged when they change of domain, you may also need the "Single Sign-In for domains".

If the websites are subdomains or subdirectories of a same domain, the "SSI for domains" is not required.
