so does this mean the PRE-gantry templates from rockettheme will work without a hitch? i saw a couple i liked but want to make sure it will work with JMS for what i intend to do. thanks

NO Grantry is NOT working with JMS and Rokethemes does NOT want fix their code.

We will NOT fixed the Rokethemes implementation to have their code fully compatible with core joomla. They have rewritten several things to bypass Joomla processing.

Edwin,

i was referring to NON-Gantry templates as my understanding is that their earlier templates are still such and so should work with JMS?. I found a old thread where the Mynxx template was discussed. I am interested in using the Infuse template which came out just before thier first Gantry inspired template.

No problem with Mynxx and many other Rocketthemes templates.
I can just say that "grantry" frameworks does not work.
It is difficult to enumerate all the RT template that are working.
All I can tell you is the Mynxx, affinity and probably other are working correctly. I have already saw used by some customers.
